He Lost 200 Pounds on a Raw Food Diet

Philip McCluskey shares about the challenges he faced in the early months of his transition away from the Standard American Diet to a diet of raw fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds. Besides having to buy clothes continuously as his body size rapidly changed, his family was his greatest challenge. Concerned that he was losing weight too fast, and that he was depriving himself of necessary nutrition (probably protein), family and friends tried to persuade him to eat meat. He describes how they put a plate of meat in front of him and pleaded with him to eat it.
